What is Sunday School?

Cornerstone Sunday School classes are designed to enable Christians and skeptics alike to think carefully about faith. We believe a key ingredient in deepening our faith is the opportunity to question and learn. Each course offered throughout Fall, Winter, and Spring is aimed at equipping believers to grow in biblical wisdom and practice in all areas of life.
For however long God has you in SoMD, we hope you invest and grow in your faith with us!

Here is what we are offering Winter 2025

Starts January 5

Yes, the order matters.  Usually, when we experience conflicts, we seek to resolve them, and then, maybe, bring Christ into the picture.  But what difference would it make if we started with Christ?  This class will train you to prioritize Jesus in your conflicts.  Join us as we reorient our hearts to honor Christ in our everyday conflicts.

When: 10:45 AM Sundays
In the Gym
All religions teach and practice a type of prayer for their followers, so what makes Christian prayer different?  As Christians we often know that we should pray, but unless we know the ‘why’ our prayer lives will miss out on God’s affections for us.  Join us as we meditate and seek the Lord to grant us understanding in prayer and live out our calling as people of prayer.
