What is Sunday School?
Cornerstone Sunday School classes are designed to enable Christians and skeptics alike to think carefully about faith. We believe a key ingredient in deepening our faith is the opportunity to question and learn. Each course offered throughout Fall, Winter, and Spring is aimed at equipping believers to grow in biblical wisdom and practice in all areas of life.
For however long God has you in SoMD, we hope you invest and grow in your faith with us!

Starts September 11
Jesus came, lived, died, resurrected, and was lifted up to heaven. After Jesus, we know the twelve apostles ministered, preached, and trained others to continue the work of the Kingdom of God thanks to the book of Luke. But, after that? Come and join us as we explore the struggles, controversies, and the numerous events the church has faced after the apostles. We will be exploring the development of the early church and how the truth from the Bible reigns

On the road to Emmaus Jesus made the astounding statement that all of the Old Testament is about him. Yes, even the book of Numbers and 1 & 2 Chronicles! How is this so? Whether you're new to Christianity or a long-time disciple, seeing Jesus in the Old Testament makes all the difference. Join us as we stroll through the Old Testament and learn to see all of scripture through the person of Jesus.

"Disregard the study of God, and you sentence yourself to stumble and blunder through life blindfolded, as it were, with no sense of direction, and no understanding of what surrounds you. This way you can waste your life and lose your soul.”
- JI Packer
"Reading gives us breadth, but study gives us depth."
